Robert Dusek

Work begins on the latest C.D. -- this time a collaboration with pianist Bryan Pezzone.  The album, current working title "Accidental Hieroglyphics," will be a collection of piano works by Dusek performed by Pezzone.  It will be released internationally on Parma lable.  The release is scheduled for this summer.  As an added bonus, the C.D. version will include enhanced content including study scores, interviews and web links to all kinds of fun places!

January 1, 2011

After some negotiating, Dr. Dusek has accepted the position of Director of Worship and Arts at Horizon Community Church in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.   This position will allow Bob to work with various ensembles and choirs and allow him to develop a multi-faceted worship ministry while giving him enough time to pursue his personal musical and artistic interests.  Bob takes the reigns January 8th, the first contract period being a year.

June 2, 2009

On the evening of June 2nd, Robert Dusek was inducted into the Menomonee Falls High School Hall of Fame for his contributions to the field of music.  The evening included a dinner reception, a recognition ceremony and a concert featuring the world premiere of Dusek's new band piece, Amethyst.  All in all it was an evening of celebration.
